Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

The films begins with the title character Ryan (Pine) attending college in London when he witnesses the September 11 attacks on TV. Shortly after, we see Ryan in military action when he is involved in a helicopter crash. Subsequently, Ryan is finishing his rehab with Dr. Cathy Muller (Keira Knightley) when he is seen by CIA Agent Thomas Harper (Kevin Costner). Harper brings on Ryan to work in the CIA in the business side of things. However, Ryan comes across many private Russian accounts led by businessman Viktor Cherevin (Branagh). While finding this out, he uncovers a plot by Cherevin to have a terrorist attack by crashing the U.S. economy.

User Review: The film was all the way amazing. Andrew portrayed Spider-Man extremely well. This new film gives us a better take on spider man. Growing up with spider man, I always knew what he was like, and this new film has a closer take to the comics. The romance was great as well, along with the action. The lizard was a great character as well. The effects were really well done. The 3d was actually worth it, and was of course well done. Emma stone portrayed the young miss Stacy well enough to make the viewers believe as if she came right out of the comics. This film was all the way amazing, and is a definite see. This shouldn\'t be compared to Avengers, or Dark Knight Rises, as its a film on its own. Some scenes made me feel as if I was actually spider man. The film is great for everyone of all ages. kids, teens, and adults.$

Kristin Scott Thomas is hilarious as the PR to the prime minister and I haven\'t seen Ewan perform so well since Young Adam and the Trainspotting days. The story is original and entertaining and has some contemporary relevance too. If you fancy an entertaining film and a bit of escapism then this is definitely one to watch. Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt have great on-screen chemistry and her relationship with her army boy is also very credible. Nice to see such a good looking actor who can actually act too! Script on the whole very sharp, especially in the UK section. A must see movie.$
