Along the way, Izzard makes observations about guns and monkeys, the World Series, the NRA and the IRA, mad cows, Socrates, the Stoned Olympics, the Roman Empire, the Renaissance, and the Mona Lisa. Izzard wears black nylons, black leather pants, a black jacket and a diamond necklace.

Although Thor loves him, Adam is resentful about sharing the farm\'s profits, and the omnipresent, enigmatic Grant remains at the fringes of Jeb\'s life, waiting for a chance to revenge himself on the young man in some mysterious vendetta as Jeb continually seeks to exorcise his demons.$
