Brian (Rob Estes), a job-obsessed corporate man whose fiancï¿½e (Kelly Monaco) has just walked out on him, gets a lesson in love and loss when he buys a charming but rundown old cottage in the countryside of Maine. They also end up finding out where the Phillips\' ultimate destination is.
