Starsky and Hutch: Dewey, an old "acquaintance" of Huggy Bear's, robs a candy store for a few bucks, only to realise he's scored thousands of dollars and the store is a Mob gambling front. Dewey, having once saved Huggy's life, calls in the debt and asks Huggy to use his underworld contacts to return the money to the Mob so they can forgive him for the robbery. But the hapless Dewey's girlfriend and her new lover learn about the stolen horde, and decide to bump him off and mug Huggy for the money before he can return it. So Huggy's left owing the large haul of money to the Mob, and Starsky and Hutch must untangle the web and save their friend, who's now marked as a dead man.
