Jem: Jem and the Holograms have been invited to New Orleans for the publicity event of the century. They are to wear famous pirate jewels that have not been seen in over a hundred years. The reason they were given this honor is that Shana looks exactly like Lily LaRose, the famous singer who safeguarded the jewels for her unrequited love Jean Lafete. Poor Shana is tormented by an unwanted suitor, a mysterious witch woman and what appears to be Lafete's ghost. None of this matters to the Misfits who are determined to wear the jewels in the parade and at the ball on Fat Tuesday, the last night of Mardi Gras.
