Clannad: Tomoya Okazaki is a High School Senior who hates the town that he lives in, but he makes the best of it. On the way to school, he meets an interesting girl, Nagisa Furukawa. At lunch, Tomoya and Nagisa eat together. Tomoya learns that Nagisa missed a large portion of school last year, so she has to make up her last year of high school. But since she was held back, all of her friends have graduated and she feels like she is alone. Later that day, Tomoya goes to Nagisa's Family's Bread shop and meets her odd, but friendly, parents.
