Mystery Diagnosis: Ever since she went through a car accident when she sixteen, Jennifer Julian has been going through a set of unusual symptoms. She faints several times, stops having body hair, has slurred speech, and feels so tired that she sleeps for many hours. Her parents think she may be depressed or mentally ill, but it turns out Jennifer has been suffering from hypopituitarism. Cara Lower has been a happy, healthy girl, when suddenly, she develops agonizing headaches at the age of eleven. Her condition appears to be minor at first, but soon, her pain spreads to her shoulders, back, and near her kidneys. Cara also becomes dizzy and loses her eyesight. Doctors believe she is simply faking, but it turns out that Cara actually has pseudotumor cerebri.
