They begin with five hard-to-build houses, from a playful pink beach house built to withstand fierce winds to a meticulous renovation of a 1960s home in Derbyshire and a DIY eco-home in Stirlingshire. They also visit a difficult-to-build reimagining of a redbrick house in Dorset and a London new-build that faced challenge after challenge.
